A kiszolgálás professzionális, minden képzeletet felülmúl!

Óriási gratuláció a konyhafőnöknek! Szenzációs! És mindez magyar halból! Hozzá tökéletes választás a Spiegelberg Nászéjszaķák Bora.
"Predesszertként" vaníliás, tojáslikőrös, mézeskalácsos huncutság érkezett a kései szüret Kikelettel kiegészítve. A mennyországban jártam....
A desszertet a cukrászmester készítette. Mindehhez az ajánlás a 2013-as Barta Szamorodni.
A legvégére a klasszikus bon-bon. Aki járt már itt az tudja.
Összegezve a Salon őrzi méltó helyét a legjobbak között, nevezhetjük akár nagykörúti gasztrolabornak.
A Borlapja meg egyenesen tanítani való. Mindezt egy pompás környezetben!
Gasztromann
A legjobb étterem Magyarországon!!!

A legnagyobb élményt a "láthatatlan", fantasztikusan precíz vendégre való odafigyelése jelentette.

I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant if you want to treat yourself. We had the five course set dinner with wine to taste at each course. The food was brilliant and the semelier really knew his wines. Great night out with silver service.

This is possibly the best meal I’ve ever eaten.
Firstly the setting, it’s like going back to a bygone era where buildings were built right, decorated exquisitely and everything had a pride about itself, it is mind blowing just how beautiful the restaurant is.
The food is perfectly set out, tastes incredible, with some brave combinations that you would think should not work but work fantastically. Although this is “traditional” it has a fresh twist, but still respects the surroundings and history of the restaurant and building. We went with the 5 course option with wine package which was perfectly matched to the meal, and decent measures too. You feel you’ve had a good meal which at times with fine dining you don’t.
Now the staff, calling them waiters is a massive disservice to them, they live and breathe this place, it wouldn’t be the experience without them, big thank you to Istvan the Sommelier who not only explains the wines, but gives you the history of the vineyard and will even produce a map to show where they are produced, and all in a friendly manner. If you know your wine (like my partner) he can have a very in-depth conversation around it, but if you don’t (like me) he will teach you and guide you, not only did I have a great meal, I learnt about Hungarian wine.
Food, Location and Staff are second to none.
I’d come back to Budapest for this restaurant alone.

This fine dining restaurant next to the New York Cafe can only be described as wonderful. In this setting you could imagine yourself as royalty back in the days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The ambience is magnificent and the service exemplary, they really made us feel special. The food was good too and yes expensive but worth every cent.

Istvan and Peter were very good at explaining about the different courses and the wines etc we were tasting . We felt they listened to every request and my gluten free diet was catered for -choosing gluten free options and the white bread was good. Had a great evening and the food was excellent .

From the moment we entered the dining area, until we finished our last sip of wine we knew this was an experience extraordinaire. The 7 course menu was an adventure in fine dining and the Hungarian wine pairings were unique and expertly matched. The maitre d’ Istvan was expert and insured we knew each course and the preparation. The sommelier Peter was a treasure and his explanations of the pairings made us travel to each vineyard in our minds. Do not miss the opportunity to have this experience in the beautiful city of Budapest.

We thoroughly enjoyed this fine dining experience. The food and service were excellent. The menu choices were somewhat limited but we enjoyed our selections. They were very generous with letting us taste Hungarian wines. All the extras were much appreciated. It was a highlight. Peter was excellent with his service and wine knowledge.

This place is like a dream, so fabulous, so luxurious. We had the seven course menu and it was wonderful just like the service. So nice experience!

Although we've dined at several of Budapest's best restaurants in the past, the Fine Dining Restaurant at the gorgeous New York Palace wasn't really on our radar. Happily, a local friend talked us into visiting it on a recent visit.
All four of us chose menus with accompanying wine pairings. I had the seven-course tasting menu, which I like to do in restaurants like this because it allows the chef to show off the restaurant. Believe me, I was not disappointed. None of us were. The food and wine were about the best we have had anywhere in the world.
Although locally sourced ingredients, such as the lamb, fish, and goose liver, remind you that you are in Hungary, the menu is very much haute cuisine of the highest possible calibre. Brilliantly presented and absolutely delicious.
The wine pairings, though, were really what set off the meal. Sommelier István Árva, provided absolutely amazing Hungarian wines - most of which are simply unavailable outside Hungary. The dry Tokai with the fish was simply incredible.
Service, too, was absolutely top-class, led by Chef De Rang Péter Palotai and several others who were friendly and attentive without being intrusive or the least bit snobbish. I mention this as many great kitchens are let down by the quality of the service.
I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, I am convinced that the next restaurant to gain a Michelin star in Budapest is going to be this one. What a wonderful evening! We can't wait to return.
Pre-dinner cocktails, the four menus, wine pairings, and tip came to around EUR 575. And it was worth every penny!

The ambience of this restaurant is devine with chandeliers and gilt in abundance. The food is superb. Had the 7 course degustation menu my husband the 4 course vegetarian. Food was imaginative, beautifully presented and lovely mix of flavours. Service was attentive and approachable. If you love food and want to spoil yourself this is a must when in Budapest.

It was really good experience as expected, I had the best "hot chocolate" in my life there.
Definitely recommended.

First of all this is the most beautiful restaurant in Budapest. The food was excellent as well as the service. Highly recommended for romantic dinner or birthday celebration.

We did not book anything in advance but there was room for us when we got to the restaurant. We arrived too late to order from the seven course menu since the dining would take serveral hours. We were well taken care of by our waitor and happy with the table the gave us.
The restaurant is located in a very nice area and the environment is of a high standard. I had duck legs and Foie Gras and my husband had the saddle of venison. We were booth very satiesfied with the main course. The wine recommendations worked well for both of us. We had the aged cow cheese for starter which was interesting and tasted well. We also had a dessert made of sea buckthorn which was a good way to finish the meal.
We would absolutely come back for another dinner to this restaurang. Professionell and friendly staff with good food.

The BEST fine dining experience of my life. Amazing food, excellent service, Andràs Hargitai is the best sommelier I've ever met. It's a must place to visit in Budapest - when you have the budget;)

Whilst staying at the beautiful Boscolo hotel we chose to dine in the fine dining restaurant adjacent to the stunning New York Cafe. The room itself made for a sense of occasion, the elegance of the service and style of the food gave us a memorable last evening in Budapest. We enjoyed the matched Hungarian wines, perfect with each dish.
All the staff were so enthusiastic and eager to share their knowledge and wanted us to have a special evening. Thank you.
