Tipikus pince kocsma. Hangulatos hely. Egy pár ital elfogasztására a nyüzsgéstől mentesen tökéletes

Nagyon kicsi, és nem nekem való zene szólt, de biztos vagyok benne, hogy vannak olyanok akiknek bejön. :)
Dániel Bencze
Mókás hangulatú hely, főleg a lofi bulik alatt
Áron Heppes
Udvariatlan kiszolgàlàs, de laza.
Elfogadtàk az összes aprómat.
Tetszik nagyon a hely.

Wonderfully scuzzy dive bar in a cellar complex. Enjoy cheap drinks and a great playlist.
Tim Harrison
The name makes finns and estonians smile. Otherwise it is similar to many nice and small overcrowded cellar places. But it certainly has own vibe. Great place if you miss finnish language in Budapest.
With a fun-loving punk spirit and graffiti scrawled across every wall, the anarchic atmosphere here draws a hard-drinking horde almost every night, yet the prevailing mood is lighthearted and friendly
Ahol a Juhasz megjelenik, ott Alpare kerekedik

Great music, great people but a bit too noisy for chatting.

Housed by a ruin pub-ish cellar in lively Erzsébetváros, Vittula guarantees an unmatchable party experience and lasting memories. Nevermind what the name of the spot means.
Igazi pincekocsma ami olcsó. Jó zene, jó hangulat sok külföldi akinek elegük van az ismert romkocsmákból és szeretik az underground helyeket. Felejthetetlen élmény volt!!

Very cool bar, not touristic. Good music and service. However, I found the cocktails lacked alcohol but still pretty good.

A dirty little *%$#hole where all the riffraff and degenerates of Budapest descending on it for 500 forint beers (1.50 euro) in a centerish location. I love this place, this is exactly the type of bar every city needs. Democratic prices with average bartenders who might overcharge you so keep your eyes keen. The place was started by a foreign backpacker prit near 15 years ago and still runs pretty strong. On weekends they even have musical djs. Vaulted ceilings and filthy walls mix for a pure experience of real Budapest.

Great hidden spot with cheap drinks and great music and atmosphere.
A true ruin bar, with an authentic atmosphere and not just another tourist hotspot
Vic_Rod7
This place might be one of the most minuscule bars in Budapest, nevertheless it is one of the coolest places ever. The whole darkness factor, underground vibe and selection of music makes it so cool and great.

Pros: Unique atmosphere and vibe, underground style of music
Cons: Cramped space, small drink selection
Many places have that ‘underground’ feeling, and a lot of others are physically built beneath the Earth. Vittula is the rare spot that is both. It’s a tight squeeze in an underground maze, the music is edgy (generally rock and/or electronic), and the walls are covered in graffiti-style artwork. It’s what Budapest’s ruin pubs were like before they made it into the guidebooks.
Bonus tip: There seems to be a golden hour when this pub goes from kind of empty to overcrowded. If you can get here and snag a table at that time (it changes depending on the day), hold on to it! You’ll have new friends and entertainment for the rest of the night.

Not far away from Blaha Lujza Tér is the hidden entrance for one of the oldest Hotspots of indie culture. Friendly staff and good music, laid back atmosphere. A pretty alternative to the touristic ruin pubs.
Sonja S
Probably the longest running underground pub/bar in the jewish district.
Always different proper underground music from the speakers.
Good and young crowd, wonderful stuff,
After midnite sometimes it gets rough and smelly,
Extraordinary393012
Like the Finnish name suggests, this is a dirty basement that smells like all kinds of cheap fluids - not for posh people who value cleanness and personal space. Even if the wall were full of Finnish tags, after a couple of beers I immediately got to know some nice local people!
mikkor667
This is what ruin pubs in Budapest are all about: cheap beer, great service and good music in cool atmosphere. Absolutely worth a visit!
Juri P
Mostly regulars as english teachers, art students, young painters and their pretty friends hang out at this bar.
Zacon2014
a small place which is usually quite packed, but a nice vibe and good music. It is a ruin pub, so don't expect anything fancy.
TamasKBudapest
A perfect cellar pub to stop by for a few very reasonably priced drinks. Whoever came up with the bar name is a legend among us Finns.

Yes, we are from Finland, and we had to check the place. The name means dirty and funny thing in our language so everyone needs to take a selfie outside the bar. And the Finns had been there... Walls full of writings in Finnish, which was funny. Atmosphere were rock'n roll, gloomy and easygoing. Drinks were cheap! We like underground places, so it was nice bar to hang out. Also nice staff.

it's a chaotic bar with loud music of all types. Cheap even for Budapest standards. Something of a cult place. If it's buzzing, you can expect a great night.
The only food they have is peanuts, maybe.

I actually visited this place in February 2013, found it through some local Budapest blog. Great and small place with the feel of an underground concert venue. If you like cheap beer and offbeat places, this is the one to go!

We came to this cellar bar after a few hours of heavy drinking, got served some cheap beers, admired the messy wall art and disturbing old doll hanging near the counter, drank some more, opened up about our lives, crazy danced to some psychedelic electronic music, started to feel really drunk and almost didn't make it up the stairs and back to hotel. Great bar, great people.
Laura H
Nice smelly cellar bar without any bling bling. Hard to spot but the crowd in front of the pub says there's something going on. No room to dance, but people are good mooded and so wasted in there.
eetuk2013
Basically a dark cellar bar with very cheap drinks, funky decor, and great parties.
The bar has a community kind of feeling to it, and is definitely the place to go to meet people. It is very casual and there tends to be an eclectic mix of people hanging out.
There are usually bands or DJs on Friday and Saturday nights when it gets the most crowded, and there is always a wide variety of music though no room for dancing. The parties tend to go late into the morning with the bar staff kicking us out sometime between 4:30 and 7 in the morning.
You won’t spend more than a couple Euros on a drink, and even then you have to try hard. My typical drink (a white wine spritzer) is only $1.20. It’s not a place for cocktails, but a gin and tonic or jack and coke is always an option.
Closed Sundays.
Open from 6pm
